Introducing Johnny, a Lebanese Canadian actor and stand-up comedian who made Montreal his home in the fall of 2015. Since then, he has been actively engaging with the Arabic cultural community in Montreal. In 2018, Johnny founded the Abjad Howse collective, bringing together a group of artists of Arab origin living in Montreal. Collaborating on various projects from 2018 to 2022, the collective produced a variety of concept events in the city.
In the spring of 2022, Johnny embarked on a new venture. Teaming up with two other partners, he co-founded Kawalees, marking the establishment of the first Arabic Cultural Cabaret in Montreal. As a regular performer at Kawalees, Johnny continues to engage audiences. His comedy, a captivating mix of politics, social commentary, and philosophy, adds a unique depth to his performances.
